Skiing in and around the Villa
The nearest ski lifts of Cauterets and Hautacam are just thirty minutes away from the villa. These offer a mixture of beginner blue runs to more advanced red and black runs. Explore a little further and you will find the La Mongie ski resort linked to Barèges, which is home to 69 runs, 43 separate ski lifts and chairs, and over 100km of pistes.
If that still doesn’t meet your level of alpine adventure, cross-country skiing is available almost anywhere during the winter season. During the ski season, shuttle buses run from Argelès Gazost to the various resorts and so there is no requirement to drive, other than the 5km from the villa down to Argelès Gazost.
The location of the villa is conveniently located to allow you to visit 6 different quality ski venues in a week but each night return to the steam room, jacuzzi, massage room, log fire, cinema room and general superior comfort of Mas des Hirondelles villa!
